Leveraging it's proprietary rich media transport, Jigsee is one of the only companies capable of delivering long-form and live video content to common phones over the existing wireless infrastructure in markets such as India. Leadership

Ray Newal

President & CEO
As President, CEO and co-founder of Jigsee, Ray drives the development, management and execution of Jigsee's strategy. In doing so, Ray leverages his 15 years of sales, and business development experience in the areas of media, advertising and internet technologies, a large part of which was acquired at the formative stage of leaders such as DoubleClick, and MSN. Prior to founding Jigsee, Ray was Vice President, Business Development and Content Acquisition at Yahoo! where he led business development, strategic alliance, and content procurement activity in the Canadian market.

Following his tenure at Yahoo!, Ray took a brief sabbatical in which he backpacked through rural India. While backpacking Ray had the inspiration for Jigsee. He envisioned a world in which even the rural citizens of developing countries had ubiquitous access to rich-media.

Gordon Jekubik

Chief Operating Officer
Gordon Jekubik, is responsible for overseeing day to day operations, and managing all investment, finance and accounting related activities at Jigsee. He is a Chartered Accountant who brings 23 years of diverse financial, operational and managerial experience to his position as Chief Operating Officer.

Gordon has worked primarily in both technology and manufacturing environments, predominantly with Microsoft, where he served in a number of progressively senior positions in the US, Europe and Canada including CFO of Microsoft Canada. Most recently, he was VP at ARISE Technologies, a renewable technology company, where he built out the operations in Germany. Gordon is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, having obtained his BComm degree. He articled with Price Waterhouse and is a member of Financial Executives International.

Areef Reza

Chief Technical Officer
As co-founder and Chief Technical Officer at Jigsee, Areef is responsible for managing Jigsee's technology decisions, strategy and architecture. He has been in the high-tech industry for more than a decade with a passion for innovation, technology and its possibilities. Prior to co-founding Jigsee, Areef held senior engineering positions in Nortel Networks, Research in Motion, Bridgewater Systems and Vayyoo, Inc.

Areef received his master's degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo, as well as a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

Shareq Rahman

VP of Product Solutions and Engineering
As co-founder and VP of Product Solutions and Engineering at Jigsee, Shareq is responsible for leading the engineering development efforts, defining the products and interfacing with the customers. He has been in the industry for over 15 years. Prior to Jigsee Shareq was at Globespan Semiconductors, where he led the development of their flagship DSL chipset products. The massive success of this product helped Globespan grow from a $35 million yearly revenue to over $750 million.

Shareq received his masters's degree in computer engineering from Penn State University, and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University. He holds six issued and pending patents.
